Over five charged days, September 30–October 4, the PPA Tour Asia – MB Vietnam Cup 2025 delivered the region’s richest purse—$150,000—across pro and amateur brackets at Tien Son Sports Arena and Tuyen Son Sports Complex. The stop is part of PPA Tour Asia’s growing calendar, with divisions in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles for multiple ages and skill levels.

Da Nang’s Biggest Roar

A Guinness World Record crowd packed Championship Saturday, with 7,906 spectators announced during the closing ceremony at Tien Son Sports Arena. Local media also reported 7,916, but organizers list 7,906 alongside the Guinness adjudication. Either way, Da Nang now holds the world mark for pickleball attendance—surpassing the previous record of 5,522.

Built Like a Major, Played Like One

The Vietnam Cup sits inside the PPA Tour Asia structure under the United Pickleball Association, mirroring a major-style format with Open, Cup, and Slam tiers. Nearly 600 athletes entered this week’s draw—566 on the tournament roster—underscoring demand from Vietnam and the wider region.
