Shenzhen, China — The battle lines are drawn. From August 9 to 10, the top amateur pickleball teams from across Asia will collide at the Pickleball Champions League (PCL Asia) Grand Finals, held at the cutting-edge Ramsports Stadium in Shenzhen.
Emerging from a fiercely contested season of national qualifiers, these elite squads now face their biggest test yet — a two-day competition that will crown the best amateur pickleball team in Asia.
“This is the highest stage yet for amateur pickleball in the region,” said Alex Yuen, President. “It’s not just about winning — it’s about showing what your country stands for on the court.”
A Championship Format Built for Drama
Each match-up will follow a team-tie format: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. If the result is tied after two matches, a thrilling Dreambreaker singles tiebreaker will decide the winner, where teammates rotate after every four points in a high-pressure singles rotation.
The structure ensures every player plays a pivotal role. It rewards nations with depth, chemistry, and the ability to perform under pressure. It’s not just about talent, it’s about timing, trust, and teamwork.
