Under a bright stretch of sunshine, GRAZIA Pickleball Tournament Season 2 turned the courts at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club into a one-day celebration of sport and community connection. Held on January 24, 2026, the tournament played out in near-ideal conditions, drawing players, supporters, lifestyle tastemakers, and first-time spectators into the same courtside rhythm.
This season’s formula stayed true to the idea that pickleball can be as stylish as it is social. Play opened with mixed doubles group matches to 15 points, before splitting into two paths: a Winners Cup for top finishers and a Consolation Cup for teams still chasing a run. Later rounds shifted into best-of-three, also played to 15, giving closing matches extra room for momentum swings.
A Day Filled With Spirited Competition and Social Energy
On court, rallies were closely fought and teamwork showed through. As games tightened, cheers erupted courtside - especially when matches came down to the wire. The overall atmosphere stayed competitive and welcoming, with sportsmanship matching the intensity of the points.
Off court, the experience felt thoughtfully curated. Evian handled hydration with still water and mocktails, while Heineken 0.0 kept the alcohol-free option flowing through the afternoon. From 4 p.m., Drinks Connexion elevated the late-day mood with free-flow cocktails featuring Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple, alongside Lolea Spritz and Lolea Sangria.
The brand village also gave guests plenty to explore between matches. Delon showcased activewear and offered RM50 vouchers, while Hyundai brought test drives for the Hyundai Staria, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Hyundai Tucson. Vitamin Well drinks helped keep energy levels steady. Guests also moved through elegant canapés at NOA, yogurt soft serve from Symphony Spread, and printed photobooth keepsakes via Canon.

The Winners Cup Final Delivered the Sharpest Tension
When the bracket tightened, the Winners Cup produced the day’s most nail-biting moments. Syabil Shaharudin and Asha Merican claimed the Winners Cup title over Arif Irfan and Audrey Ooi, winning 15–9 and 15–13.
Third place went to Clinton Ho and Natasha Loke, who won their playoff match 15–8 and 15–14.
GRAZIA’s official winners list tied those podium finishes to a prize pool spanning wellness, fashion, and tech - signaling a tournament designed to celebrate standout performances in more ways than one.
Consolation Cup Had Its Own Nail-Biters
The Consolation Cup - often where surprise runs take shape - delivered its own drama. See Sian Loong and Karen Kho won a semi-final 21–17 over Wilson Cheah and Mabel Lee.
On the other side of the bracket, Ken Foo and Charlotte Tsui Li advanced with a 21–14 win against Mark Douglas Choo and Weena Marcus.
GRAZIA’s recap later named See and Karen as Consolation Cup champions, with Ken and Charlotte as runners-up.

KL’s Pickleball Lifestyle-and-Wellness Shift
Another marker of pickleball’s rise was who showed up and stayed courtside. Familiar faces and creators were in attendance, including Bobo Stephanie - a former Season 1 second-place finisher - along with Yvonne Lee and Timothy Tiah.
That mix - players, founders, lifestyle names, and friends cheering from the sidelines - helps explain why events like this feel different. They’re competitive, yes, but they’re also built for community: a place where spectators become curious, and curious people become players.
