The Kitch’n Club was born from a simple but powerful idea: create a welcoming space where people connect through the joy of pickleball. Tucked in the heart of Kota Damansara, the club has become a warm, lively hub where beginners test the waters, intermediates chase the next rating bump, and families find a weekly ritual. Programs are built around fun, fundamentals, and feedback—three ingredients that keep players coming back for seconds.
The club’s mission is to reinvest its profits into the community—supporting athletes and improving the customer experience—with a focus on empowering underprivileged players through training, equipment, and pathways to international competition. In an emerging Malaysian pickleball scene, that mission sets a clear north star.
Origin Story: Wellness First, Community Next
Founders Ben and Clarine built the club out of a personal turn toward health. After Ben’s battle with osteoarthritis, the pair gravitated to pickleball as a low-impact, social way to stay active. The venue’s name—The Kitch’n Club—is a playful nod to the “kitchen,” pickleball’s no-volley zone, and to their goal of blending sport and cuisine under one roof.

What You’ll Find on Court
The Kitch’n Club welcomes players at all levels—first-timers, returners, and intermediates with DUPR goals. The throughline is consistency: clear instruction, repeatable drills, and feedback you can use in the very next rally.
Programs are designed to meet people where they are—and move them forward.
Academy Little Sizzlers (Juniors)
This upbeat session turns fundamentals into games kids actually want to play. Whether they’re new to the kitchen line or already experimenting with slice and smash, coaches keep it playful while teaching great habits.
Coach & Roast (Play with Coach!)
Novice to intermediate players rotate with and against a coach for live feedback, tactical tweaks, and spirited points—plus the occasional gentle “roast” to make lessons stick
Guided play
Structured games with coaching cues for steady, low-pressure growth.
Intro events with cooking elements
Court time paired with hands-on kitchen activities to lower the barrier for newcomers and families.

Community Flavor, On and Off the Court
The club is fully indoors for all-weather, all-day play. Premium courts feature US Open–quality flooring that the club says reduces joint shock by about 20%. Off-court, players can reset at a drinks kiosk and café, and recover in ice baths, shower rooms, and an infrared sauna. A kids’ play area and comfortable seating aim to make the space genuinely family-friendly.
It’s a welcoming setting where neighbors meet, rookies feel seen, and regulars trade tips between games.
“We believe pickleball is more than a sport. It’s about confidence, connection, and creating moments that matter. We’re proud to be part of Malaysia’s growing pickleball movement and excited to continue growing the game—one rally, one smile, and one story at a time.” - The Kitch’n Club
Malaysia’s pickleball scene is expanding, and spaces like The Kitch’n Club help that growth stick. By pairing quality instruction with a social heartbeat, the club lowers barriers to entry while giving developing players a clear pathway to improve. It’s not just where you play—it’s where you belong.
