The Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) has appointed JOOLA India as the official kit partner for Team India at the Pickleball World Cup, scheduled for October 27–November 2 in Florida, USA. The collaboration marks a milestone for pickleball India: it’s the first time an official national pickleball team—operating under the aegis of the IPA—will represent the country on a global stage. The announcement follows the Government of India’s recognition of the IPA as the National Sports Federation for pickleball earlier this year, clearing the administrative pathway for a formally sanctioned national squad and signaling momentum for pickleball Asia.
JOOLA India Partnership: Performance First
Under the agreement, JOOLA India will provide performance apparel and accessories for India’s players, coaches, and support staff. “We are incredibly proud to partner with the Indian Pickleball Association for this landmark event,” said Tarun Verma, Head of JOOLA India. “Supporting Team India as they make their official debut on the global stage is a testament to JOOLA’s commitment to growing pickleball in India. We believe our state-of-the-art kit will give the athletes a competitive edge, and we wish them the very best in Florida.”
IPA president Suryaveer Singh Bhullar called the tie-up a turning point. “Today is a momentous day for Indian pickleball. Sending our first official team to the Pickleball World Cup, with the full backing of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, is the culmination of years of dedicated effort. The partnership with JOOLA India as our kit partner is vital, providing our players with the best quality equipment as they step out to represent the nation. This is a massive step towards establishing India as a significant force on the international pickleball circuit.”
