Men’s doubles No. 1, Quang Duong, has officially signed with Vietnam-based Wika Pickleball, giving Vietnam’s fast-rising pickleball scene a headline partnership to open 2026. The announcement was made through Wika’s official channels and centers on a long-term collaboration tied to Vietnamese pickleball development.
Wika’s statement set the tone for what comes next - new gear, new milestones, and a clear emphasis on Vietnam’s place in the sport’s next phase.
“A new burst of momentum begins in 2026! Wika and Quang Duong officially open the next chapter in their professional pickleball journey - where pioneering milestones are set to be unveiled,” Wika Pickleball said in a statement on social media.
“This marks Wika’s strong commitment to sustainable development and long-term partnership with Vietnamese pickleball, while affirming its confidence in a new generation of Vietnamese athletes ready to conquer the international stage with talent and breakthrough technologies.”

“Wika QD” Arrives With Two Paddle Builds
Wika is tying the partnership to a signature collection branded “Wika QD,” featuring at least two paddle variants: QD Air and QD Fire.
The QD Air is presented as Wika’s first full-foam core paddle, built around an AIRFOAM core system and paired with a Carbon Gen 5 X100 face. The QD Fire is promoted with a FIRECORE build and a Carbon Gen 6 X911 face, with marketing that emphasizes pop, spin-focused surface texture, and stability.

From Sypik to Wika: A New Vietnam-Based Partnership
Duong’s move to Wika follows his previous sponsorship with another Vietnam-based pickleball brand, Sypik. Sypik publicly marked the end of its partnership with Duong in early January 2026, closing a chapter that included the release of the Sypik Avatar Collection.
With Wika, the next chapter is being framed around a new signature line - “Wika QD” - that the brand describes as “fueled by relentless movement on court and breakthrough technology debuting for the first time.”
In a region where pickleball continues to expand across clubs, tournaments, and gear ecosystems, this signing is a clear example of Vietnam’s local player-and-brand pipeline becoming more visible. It pairs a Vietnamese athlete with a Vietnamese company and places a Vietnam-branded signature line into the broader mix of Asia’s growing pickleball market.
