The Pickleball Champions League Asia (PCL Asia) is bringing its Season 2 Philippine Sectionals to SM Mall of Asia on November 15–16, 2025, with eight elite club teams set to battle for national bragging rights and a place on the continent’s biggest amateur stage. The champion team earns a US$5,000 travel grant to represent the Philippines at the Grand Finals in China, where a US$96,000 prize pool awaits and the grand champion banks US$30,000.

PCL Asia is the biggest stage in Asian pickleball, building a club-versus-club pathway across the region for emerging talent. The league’s platform and format have expanded in 2025, culminating in Shenzhen’s August championship weekend—an event co-hosted with Ramsports that underlined pickleball’s rapid rise in Asia.

This momentum highlights how pickleball in Asia is building stronger competitive pathways and drawing international attention to the sport.

What’s at Stake and How to Enter at the PCL Asia Season 2!

The MOA stop is a straight shot to continental contention. Win in Manila, and your club secures the travel stipend to China plus a crack at the finals purse, headlined by a US$30,000 champion’s check. Several national qualifiers across Asia this year have mirrored that US$5,000 travel-grant structure, a consistent incentive that helps top local teams test themselves against regional rivals.

Pickleball Movement in Asia

PCL Asia’s footprint has broadened in 2025, with qualifiers and partner events across Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, and beyond, feeding into August’s Shenzhen finals. Team Philippines captured the inaugural season title, a marker of the country’s fast-rising competitive depth. Expect a stacked domestic field in November chasing a return to the Asian summit.

With the stakes set and the spotlight fixed on Manila, PCL Asia Season 2 at SM Mall of Asia is more than a qualifier, it’s a proving ground for the country’s fiercest clubs and a launchpad to China’s grand stage. Eight teams will enter; one will carry the flag.

With qualifiers across the region feeding into Shenzhen, the league is also cementing the broader identity of pickleball Asia as a thriving community of clubs and players.
