Jack Wong Hong-kit and Kim Eunggwon closed out the PPA Tour Australia: QLD Pickleball Slam + MLPA #4 on Sunday with a straight-games victory over Joseph Wild and George Wall, 11–7, 11–7, to claim gold.

In the final, Wong and Kim owned the kitchen—the no-volley zone—closed angles at the net, and managed pace to take the opener 11–7. They repeated the same patterns in game two, maintaining service holds and limiting unforced errors to finish 11–7.

The bronze match went to Santhosh Narayanan and Purple Jesus Manthou, who beat Prycen Haas and Lucas Pascoe 11–5, 11–9 with steady third-shot play and late-game composure.

Podiums Across PPA Tour

The result extends a consistent season. The pair previously reached the podium at three PPA Tour Asia stops—MB Vietnam Open (bronze), Sansan Fukuoka Open (bronze), and Hong Kong Open (silver)—and now sit in a three-way tie for No. 1 in the Men’s Doubles rankings with Wall.

Wong and Kim’s Brisbane win consolidates their standing at the top of Asia’s Men’s Doubles alongside Wall and underscores the depth emerging from Asian pairings across regional and cross-tour events. With multiple podiums already this season, the rankings race among these contenders remains tight heading into the next slate of tournaments.
